Day Two and Three

I'm going to keep this shorter, just cause otherwise my fingers will get very cold and I'll get scolded by CB again :)
We spent most of yesterday waiting for the Urologist to come and look at Gran before we could move her into the Frail-care home (as they're called here). He finally turned up at the hospital at about 6pm. Due to some issues of "service" we still moved Gran that night.
Other things during the day are lunch at "Die Akker" in Poschefstroom (or Potsch as it's called) about 60 km' away which is a University and Military town (feels a bit like Palmerston North).
I didn't update last night because the internet here was refusing to connect.
Today we went and did a flying visit to Gran and then I seem to have whiled away the day reading. Oh and when I turned on my cell-phone to check messages it turns out I'm now an UNCLE! Woot! Woot!
My niece (typed miece so I think that's her first nickname) was 5lb 14oz and small but that's not unusual as she's 10 days early.
Another of CB's cousin and family arrived this evening. CB is getting rather emotionally tired now and is feeling glad that we're only here for a short visit. Her Gran is still talking about how tired she is and just wanting to rest and so it definitely seems to be just a matter of time.
Went for a walk to town today. Food here is quite cheap but technical stuff is more expensive (and the internet is quite a bit more expensive than NZ).
