More details as to why

So here I am at the beginning of the last day of the first week of 2006 ( whew :) )

And it's been a good one. Though if 2006 is going to continue at this pace I'm not sure if I can cope.

Since Monday I've

• Slept alongside/with/cuddling someone twice (Hi sethra2000)
  
• Spent a total of probably 6 hours shopping for Wedding presents for the two weddings I'm going to this weekend
  
• Had a very nice brunch with a new friend/lass I met via NZ Dating, who I lent Firefly to and she told me war stories (literally, she grew up in Zimbabwe)
  
• This means I've also had to "introduce" two people to the concept of polyamory this year too.
  
• Went and saw "Valiant" a very nice animated (pseudo)war movie about the Royal Homing Pidgeon Service. Good voices simple but not stupid plot. Much fun. Short but it didn't seem it
  
• Watched the majority of the currently available season 3 of NCIS.
  
• Acquired a 3.5m by 1.5m Serenity poster (the international design. Sorry no photo, I have nowhere to hang it up, yet...
  
• Started to make plans to go to Warbirds over Wanaka this year with sethra2000
  
• Also ate, drank, drove, cuddled, hugged and generally did the other things that fill up ones day, but all with a smile in my heart if not on my face

I've had a some me time and have more of it planned for today so I can let things continue to sort themselves out in my head.
