I don't often post about geek wins. They should really come with the territory.
But over the course of yesterday I was pleasantly surprised with the ease with which I switched my two domains (a .com and a .geek.nz) from their current (slightly expensive and restrictive) registrar over to my current ISP's domain registration and Zone management system.
I was able to switch over the registrations, re-establish the (admittedly simple) Zone setups and configure the email and URL forwarding all without having to call telephone support once. In fact the only hassle of the entire operation was finding the help pages with the clear instructions on how to configure the zones for email and URL forwarding.
So Kudos to Orcon for an essentially painless process.
