For two reasons.
The first and slightly more, err, momentous (nah, thats bit melodramatic) is that there were a series of one-on-one meetings with management yesterday afternoon at work.
The majority shareholder has become the only shareholder and as part of the change the Sales and Marketing Manager role is being disestablished (PHB speak). So the cosy little company which appeared to be growing 3 months ago (and had 5 staff) is now down to 3 again. And two of them are IT :)

The second is I went to see "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" yesterday (review later and probably only on request, short form I liked it but wasn't blown away) and ran into an ex. WE watched the film together and then I showed her the Serenity trailer and a couple of Firefly commentaries.
