I'm a silly romantic I am
Last night was a friends stag do. It was good night, well mostly.
See, I like weddings and the majority of the ritual and ceremony that goes along with them. They (and equivalent events) are a celebration of friends, community, romance, love and togetherness. Which I am so a sucker for.
I am always so happy for the people involved and share and revel in their happiness. Truly.
And then, of course, a few hours in I remember my own fate/state which also often isn't helped by companions. Not pointed at me but just being who they are.
Struan lonely! Struan sad! Blah
